The shower usually peaks around August 12th or 13th, and this year it just so happens to coincide with the Aquarius Full Moon! As I am sure you know a meteor shower is when numerous meteors or shooting stars streak across the night sky. They are caused by the debris of comets and asteroids colliding with the Earth's atmosphere. The Perseids are one of the most active and bright meteor showers of the year and they peak around August 12th or 13th. This year they will be especially active due to the fact that they are occurring during the Aquarius Full Moon. I'm sure many of you have heard that wishing upon a shooting stars grants you a wish, well imagine what kind of manifesting you can do during a meteor shower, especially if your channeling your own meteorite pieces during said time! Meteor showers are great for charging crystals, specially meteorites! If you want to harness the power of the Perseids I suggest going outside around midnight on August 12th or 13th and doing a ritual to charge your crystals. All you need is your crystal, some water (preferably from a natural source like a river or waterfall), and an open mind. Once you have all your supplies head outside and find a comfortable spot to sit or lie down. Hold your crystal in your hand and close your eyes. Take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to relax. Once you feel calm and centered, begin visualizing white light emanating from the crystal and entering your body. See the light filling your entire being, cleansing and purifying as it goes. As you continue to visualize the light, begin making your wish for what you'd like to manifest in your life. See it clearly in your mind's eye and feel the emotions associated with achieving your goal. Hold onto that feeling for as long as you can.
